November 11 is the official Veterans Day, also known as Armistice Day. This day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918 and it’s an official United States holiday that honors people who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
