World’s Fair History Walks

Sunday, 9/8, 11am to noon and 1pm to 2 pm the park’s wonderful volunteers will take you on a tour of places and things you might not know exist in our Park. Stops include the Unisphere, the New York State Pavilion, the Rocket Thrower, the 2,000-year-old Column of Jerash the only kinetic sculpture in the park and the spot where two 5,000-year-old Time Capsules are buried. Go to the Unisphere and meet at the green pop-up tent. No registration is needed, and, of course, it’s always weather permitting.
